DESCRIPTION:As we begin a new chapter as Lawrence Memorial District Librar
 y\; we would like to bear homage to our rural community and it’s storied
  past. The current library building was the acclaimed (first rural-free de
 livery) Post Office\, constructed from the stones of local farmsteads. As 
 is the monument to that rural free delivery\, in our adjoining park.\n\nCo
 nsidering this tradition\; we would like to edge the new library sign (and
  flowerbeds) with a border of donated stones. Stones of 6-8 inches in size
  would be appreciated. Each donation will be recorded/documented for poste
 rity.. Go down in history\, bring your rocks to the library.
